After Nobuko discovers that someone has scrawled “ugly pig” on her school uniform, Shuji and Kusano seize a new opportunity to boost her popularity.

When Bando orders Nobuko to manage the haunted house at the culture festival, Shuji and Kusano try to turn the situation in their favor.

Nobuko reluctantly takes center stage at an annual school event, where she must confess her romantic feelings and face the consequences.

Convinced that Nobuko needs to improve her flirting skills to become popular, Shuji encourages a potential romance between her and another student.

Fed up with their production schemes getting ruined by rumors and harassment, Shuji and Kusano decide to strike back by starting a rumor of their own.

Shuji feels lonely without the project. Meanwhile, a lovestruck Kusano tags along when Aoi invites Nobuko to join the school’s broadcasting club.

After intervening to help a stranger being assaulted, Shuji gets hauled off by the police. Shaken, he vows to stay out of other people’s conflicts.

When a manipulative Aoi forces her way into Nobuko’s friend group and becomes a producer, Shuji and Kusano hesitate to tell Nobuko the hurtful truth.

Shuji tells Nobuko and Kusano he’s moving away. Nobuko takes up a surprising part-time job to show him how much she appreciates everything he’s done.
